Gracefully he runs through the forest
He gallops against the wind and storms
and feels it all
He is not young anymore
Battles, scars and wounds of long ago
He feels every bit of it
He glides over each obstacle
He jumps, he falls, he slips
He doesn’t stop
To his feet he gets
He knows deep inside
He is losing pace
His soul is burning and aching deep inside him
He knows the race
His heart beats and pounds
His footprints will tell a tale
On the horizon is his love
The storms were meant to break him
To darken his soul
He kept his eyes on the horizon
Not once did he loose his gaze
Far in the horizon was something not many saw
The purity of a new day…
